WEST POINT CADET HOLLAND GIBSON TO PERFORM NATIONAL ANTHEM TO KICK OFF DRAFT

MORE THAN 70 GUESTS SCHEDULED TO ANNOUNCE DRAFT PICKS

The National Football League announced today the roster of guests scheduled to announce Draft picks live from Radio City Music Hall during the 2014 NFL Draft that kicks off in primetime Thursday at 8:00 PM ET (Round 1) and continues Friday at 7:00 PM ET (Rounds 2-3) and Saturday at 12:00 PM ET (Rounds 4-7).

For the first time, the Draft will kick off with a moment honoring the military that culminates in the performance of the National Anthem as part of the NFL’s Salute To Service campaign.  Active duty service members representing all five branches of the United States Armed Forces – the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard – and five alumni of Wounded Warrior Project ® will be honored on stage.  Each service member will be joined on stage by an important mother in his or her life in recognition of Mother’s Day.  West Point Cadet HOLLAND GIBSON will perform the National Anthem.

Members of the United States Armed Forces also will be honored on stage during Day Two of the Draft, along with wounded warriors from Wounded Warrior Project ®. One member of the organization also will announce a draft pick on Day Two of the Draft.

The NFL previously announced that 32 former players, one representing each team, will announce live on Friday second round Draft picks from Radio City Music Hall.  This marks the fourth year in which each selection in the second round is announced by a former player.
