The two-time Emmy-nominated documentary series produced by NFL Films, A Football Life Presented by Chase, returns for a third season Tuesday, September 3 at 9:00 PM ET on NFL Network. Airing on Tuesday nights at 9:00 PM ET throughout the NFL season, the expanded 22-episode season examines the iconic individuals and subjects that have had an undeniable and profound impact on the history of the National Football League, offering an inside look into their untold stories.
New this season, A Football Life: Backstory airs following each episode at 10:00 PM ET on NFL Network. The 30-minute show provides a deeper look into the lives and story of each subject, features interviews with relevant individuals, and includes material that did not make the final edition of each A Football Life episode. Viewers will also have the opportunity to interact and offer their thoughts on Twitter by following @NFLNetwork and using the hashtag #AFootballLife.

Premiering September 3, the third season of A Football Life begins with a profile of former NFL MVP and current NFL Network analyst LaDainian Tomlinson. Featuring interviews with Tomlinson, his mother Loreane Tomlinson, his wife LaTorsha Tomlinson, former teammates such as Drew Brees, Philip Rivers, Antonio Gates, and more, LaDainian Tomlinson: A Football Life explores Tomlinson’s football career, from his four years at Texas Christian University to his 11-year NFL career. The one-hour documentary also includes a visit to the place that played a significant role in his family’s history.
