Blackout Lifts at 97% Through Week 9 – Third-Best Ever; Attendance Up More Than 1,000 Per Game

All Week 9 NFL games have sold out for television, marking the third consecutive weekend and fifth time this season that all games will be televised locally.

For the season, 97 percent of games (128 of 132) have sold out for local TV – the third highest rate ever through Week 9 and up from 94 percent (123 of 130) at this point last season.

Paid attendance through eight weeks is up more than 1,000 per game to 65,610 from 64,609 in 2011.
